Being a fan of science fiction, I decided to write a little about drama series known as “Fringe” directed by J.J Abrams. It is an interesting show which takes on the advancement of science throughout our human history but more importantly it is a well conceived mystery that will engage audiences in many different ways.
The series follows Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) team based in Boston, Massachusetts under the supervision of Homeland Security. The team uses unorthodox "fringe" science to investigate "The Pattern", a series of unexplained that are happening all over the world. “The Pattern” begins to emerge across the global that deal with strange phenomenon and it seems someone is using the world as a lab to perform pseudoscience experiments.
The lead characters in the show are special agent, Olivia Dunham (played by Anna Trov), mad scientist Walter Bishop (John Noble) , and his son, Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson), as they investigate aspects of fringe science such as rare diseases, mutants, psychic abilities, teleportation, etc.
The scientist, Walter is the character that really drive the show and the most intriguing character. The series' storyline are easier to follow and more accessible for those who skip an occasional episode.
This show ultimately captivates me because it has all the elements that make is great. Like J.J Abrams previous shows it brings action and mystery but in a different way bringing suspense and mystery that is sure to leave a strong impression after every episode. This drama is a must see and I can’t wait for third season of renewed “Fringe”.
