"Lie to Me"

Lie to Me” stars Tim Roth as Dr.Cal Lightman, a human lie-detector who's able to detect any lie from people's body language together with his team of specially trained associates. He helps the police and U.S. Government solve the toughest crimes. That ability comes in handy when catching criminals but it also provides him with the misfortune of always knowing when someone is not honest with him sometimes leading to series of unfortunate situations.

"Lie to Me" is a great show because it capitalizes on a whole new field of TV drama compared to detective shows or even medical dramas we saw on TV. But this is refreshing as it's much different than any show out there because this show has its own style.

It is a completely original and highly entertaining show that I know that people will just love if they give it a chance. "Lie to Me" is a very interesting series with a lot of humor and a very interesting location to work (in my opinion).

The series also features a strong supporting cast including Kelli Williams as Dr. Gillian Foster whose husband is cheating on her, a fact every one of her colleagues is aware of except herself. Brendan Hines's character is always telling the truth no matter how embarrassing and Monica Raymund stars as Ria Torres, who has the natural ability of seeing if someone is lying. That often leads to conflict with Lightman, who refuses to believe her ability is as accurate as his since he needed years of training while she was just born with her talent.

Ghost Whisperer

What if you could talk to the dead -- what would you say? In Ghost Whisperer, the main character, Melinda Gordon (played by Jennifer Love Hewitt) has a unique ability to communicates with earthbound spirits or ghosts who cling to the living because they have unfinished business that prevents them from moving on.

She accepts her unique abilities as a blessing and sometime curse, but always helps her clients, alive or dead, find emotional closure. Melinda uses her gift to relay significant messages and important information to the living, but sometimes the messages she receives are intense and confusing. As a result, she is often met with questions and skepticism by the survivors. But when Melinda is able to help both the lost souls who contact her and those who are still alive, she knows that her unique talent is an asset and not a liability.

Each episode started off as horror with some extremely disturbing visuals which later turns into emotional scenes. This drama shows that you should never take things for granted and that you should always do the best you can do! Because you never know if tomorrow will come. There are some people who don't believe in ghosts, and some that do. Jennifer Love Hewitt is a joy to watch as her acting was believable and she definitely has a lot of cool outfits.

Supernatural

As a fan of Supernatural, I love the way the producer includes little bits of humor here and there and mainly for having two very attractive men in the cast. It is a horror drama series starring by Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester.

The two brothers travel the country looking for their missing father and battling evil spirits along the way. Ever since they were little their father has been recruiting and training his two young sons to help him in revenge on the evil force that murdered their mother. They have grown up as hunters of the supernatural such as vampires, demons and many more.

In my opinion, I think it's interesting to see how they'll explore these. I'm drawn to see how they learn about each "creature" and figure out the best way to overcome whatever they come across. It's a neat show that explores some of America's famous legends with the brothers who are searching for their father and the "thing" that killed their mother. I would highly recommend this show for anyone who enjoys supernatural tales and folklore.

Prison Break

Prison Break was one of the action oriented drama I watched back then that created by Paul Scheuring. The series revolves around two brothers; one has been sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit, and the other younger bro planned to help his brother escape prison. Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) is set up for the murder of the vice President's brother by a shady organisation known as The Company. He's sent to the high security, Fox River Penitentiary to serve time before facing the electric chair. But luckily his genius brother, Michael Scofield, (Wennworth Miller) stole the blueprints and conjures up a way to break him out. What few people know is that Michael is the architect of the prison and so he knows his way around.

Prison Break is one of those shows that you can't wait until the next episode. It's got the whole package, personality, style, thrills and action. The characters are really good but so good that they're still unpredictable. You get to know some of their history and what kind of person they are before they end up in prison. The actors do a great job in portraying these characters. The story is well written and detailed and it all seems possible. This is one of those series with its own unique look, the mood; style and action are well captured in really good looking shots followed by really nice music.

Criminal Minds

Criminal Minds is an American dram series which follows a team of profilers from the FBI Behavioral Analysis (BAU) at Quantico, Virginia. It differs from many criminal dramas by focusing on the behaviors of the criminal rather than the crime itself.

The series centers on Jason Gideon (Mandy Patinkin), Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson) and the rest of the BAU team that includes Elle Greenaway (Lola Glaudini), Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), JJ (A.J.Cook), and Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness).

Criminal Minds is a psychological thriller that certainly keeps my undivided attention. It involves more psychology & sociology causing viewers to know what makes someone tick as a way to prevent crimes from occurring again. The frequently-used term "UNSUB" stands for "unknown subject" of an investigation.

24

In this drama, each season takes place within 24 hour period. Jack Bauer is the CIA special agent who uncovers an assassination plot targeting Presidential nominee David Palmer. He is characterized as a highly proficient agent but regardless of the perceived morality of some of his actions.

A typical plot has Jack Bauer racing against the clock as he attempts to prevent multiple terrorist plots, including Presidential assassination attempts, nuclear, biological and chemical threats, cyber attacks as well as conspiracies dealing with government and corporate corruptions such a compelling way that the viewer is hooked at every jump and turn.

What I like the most is the show was presented in the semblance of real time with each 24-episode season covering 24 hours in the life of Bauer which left viewer wondering what will the next 24 hours hold? This show can best be described as the most innovative because it has used split screen cameras, and a real time format to create the element of a quality show which intensifies the climax. It helps to make the show seem realistic. 24 is constantly surprising viewers in unexpected moments and you never know what to expect on the show. Anything can happen.

There are very rarely any mistakes with the time aspect of the show which is one of the strength of this show. You will also see most of the camera focused on Jacks point of view and from a human’s point of view and it helps to bring the viewer more involved in the show. The story may change; new characters maybe includes and leave but one thing always stays the same; the underlying story of the show is about one mans fight to do what is right.

Heroes

Heroes is an American science fiction fantasy drama series created by Tim Kring which tells the stories of ordinary people who discover superhuman abilities and how these abilities take effect in the characters' lives. Imagine that you could fly, teleport, read peoples minds, or even foresee the future. That would make us different from everyone else.

Some of the lead characters in Heroes

This drama featured a numerous of character such as high school cheerleader who can regenerate tissue, Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere), police officer who can read people’s mind, Matt Parker (Greg Grunberg), super strength mother, Niki Sanders (Ali Larter), space-time manipulator HiroNakamura (Masi Oka), and a congressional candidate with the ability to fly, Nathan Petrelli (AdrianPasdar), hospital nurse with the ability to mimic other’s ability, Peter Petrelli ( Milo Ventimiglia).

Overall, I think this series had a great start. There were some head-scratching moments and some shortcuts in the storytelling but the overall special effect of each episode is what worth to watch. Unfortunately, the second half of the season failed to build on the momentum of the first set of episodes causing the series to be dull.
